学术贡献
一直致力于家蚕分子生理与改良研究,并以提升蚕体强健性相关基因发掘和作用机制研究为主要内容。开创了家蚕作为保健类中药及其活性物质评价的研究,阐释了8种活性物质对蚕体强健性调节的作用及生理机制。鉴定了10个能够增强蚕体强健性的重要基因,揭示了7条增强蚕体强健性的新路径,初步构建了蚕体强健性的调控网络,突破了单一基因或信号路径的研究局限,为家蚕强健性的分子改良提供了重要理论基础。发现了影响强健性的新基因OSER1,并在家蚕、线虫、果蝇等多物种中研究揭示了其通过增强机体氧化应激防御而提升强健性及延长健康寿命的保守性机制,展示了OSER1作为促进健康生存的关键调控靶标的重要潜力,为蚕体强健性的分子改良带来重要前景。以第一作者在Nature Communications、BMC Medicine、Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis、Aging and Disease等领域著名期刊发表论文14篇。主持包括国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年基金项目和西南大学基础学科青年人才项目(简称U40)、西南大学第一批高层次后备人才计划等在内的科研项目8项,授权发明专利1项,做国际学术报告7次,国内学术报告7次,长期担任BMC Genomics、Frontiers in aging Neuroscience等期刊审稿人。
